Message from the President

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Bible Institute (GFBI) represents the birth of a vision in addressing the training needs of faithful men and women of God, seeking to equip themselves for their contribution reaping the harvest. As we confront a changing world with the good news of the gospel of Christ our Lord, it becomes increasingly clear that our unpreparedness is of a greater obstacle than we care to admit, thus the need for an institution such as GFBI.

Our motto “Training Today for Tomorrow’s Task” goes a long way in addressing our goal. As the world advances in science and technology, and more and more of our children are taught to be more environmentally friendly than God friendly, the task of spreading the gospel message with positive results is bound to become more challenging. It is our intention here at GFBI to seek to encourage Pastors and Lay persons alike to take advantage of this opportunity to study and better equip themselves for the task ahead.

One of the areas in which we hope to make a difference, is in the training of people to become more productive in the supportive roles they play in the building up of their local assembly. Those who serve as leaders of the various ministries and those who aspire to serve can find the training they need to help them accomplish their goals right here at GFBI.

God bless you and thank you for making us your source and place of training.

Dr. Clive A. Porter, Sr.
