The Greater Fort Lauderdale New Testament Church of God is an affiliate of the Church of God with International Headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee and State Headquarters in Cocoa, Florida. Our Denomination was founded in 1886 and is today the largest Pentecostal movement throughout the world. Our local assembly, which is West Indian based but culturally diverse was founded in April of 1992 under the Leadership of Dr. Lennox Powell who was then, Founder and Pastor. The Lord has blessed us over these past years into becoming a Church of tremendous spiritual and social resources and it is from this plateau that we are striving to reach our community and ultimately the world with the rich gospel of Jesus Christ. As a church our worship is Pentecostal in nature, our doctrine/teaching is sound and biblically based, leaving us with a strong commitment to righteousness and Godly living.
